Can horoscopes reveal personality?

Bazi can look at reaction tendencies, expressions, stress handling and relationship boundaries, but it cannot pin people into "Jiamu is like that, Gengjin is like that". The sun lord is only the central coordinate. The true expression of character depends on the moon order, strength and weakness, the combination of the ten gods, the circulation of the five elements, the growth environment and stage changes.

The same Sun Lord has completely different behaviors when it is commanded, rooted, born, restrained, and released. Jia wood may be like a tree or a vine; Geng metal may be a tool or rough; Ding fire may be warm or scorching. If a character article is written only according to the five elements of the day, it will be the most common template.

Bi Jie is heavy, looking at self-boundaries, competition and independence; Food Injury is heavy, looking at expression, creation and disobedience; Wealth is heavy, looking at sense of reality, exchange and resource awareness; Official Kill is heavy, looking at rules, goals and stress response; Yin heavy, looking at understanding, absorption, dependence and protection needs. The Ten Gods are not labels of good or bad, but functional modules of how the personality works.

The truest parts of your character often emerge under pressure. When official death presses the body, some people become self-disciplined and others become anxious; when food injuries are restrained, some people remain silent while others rebound; when the imprint is heavy, some people are steady while others drag on; when the calamity is greater than the calamity, some people become independent and some are stubborn. To write about "what it is like in normal times and what it is like under pressure", the article is not like horoscope speed dating.

A person may behave differently in alone time, at work, in intimate relationships, and at home. The Sun Branch, Bi Jie, Wealth Officer, Food Injury, and Seal Star will affect the approach, concession, dispute, and repair abilities. Personality is not just "extroversion/introversion", but a set of response patterns in different relationships.

"The Lord must be gentle on a certain day" and "the gods must be rebellious on a certain day" are too crude. In reality, education, vocational training, age, and relationship experience will change expression. The natal chart gives tendencies, not personality judgments. The more characterful the article is, the more boundaries it needs to be written.

You can write: "The main axis of the personality of this chart is not simply a certain five elements, but the Sun Lord is in a certain environment, and a certain type of Ten Gods appear repeatedly. It may usually show a certain way of reaction, and it is easy to turn to a certain defense under pressure. If the reality is properly trained, this structure can develop into certain types of advantages; if it is imbalanced, certain types of stuck points will easily occur."

The Sun Lord, the Ten Gods, and the Five Elements can all provide clues to personality, but you cannot summarize a person with "You are such and such a Sun Lord." Character is the result of how strength is inherited, expressed, suppressed and trained.

The strong food injury can be creativity or impulsive expression; the strong official kill can be a sense of responsibility or tightness; the strong Yin can be learning ability or dependence. Don’t just give labels, look at the level of expression.

The passage of great fortune changes the types of abilities a person uses more often. Certain stages are more extroverted, more realistic, more cautious or more willing to express, which does not mean that the essence has completely changed, but that the structure is activated by different forces.

Instead of saying "you are a certain kind of person", write about "how you are more likely to react under pressure, how you are more likely to get closer in relationships, and how you are more likely to push forward at work." Behavioral patterns are more specific and helpful than personality labels.
