What is the difference between angular palace, continuation palace and fruit palace?

What is the difference between angular palace, continuation palace and fruit palace?

The angular, continuation and fruiting palaces describe the dynamic types of the houses: the angular palace manifests, the continuation palace maintains, and the fruiting palace adjusts. They can help determine how a planet might fit into real life.

Corner Palace: Things tend to manifest easily

The angular houses are the first, fourth, seventh and tenth houses, corresponding to the four axes of ascendant, nadir, descending and zenith. Planets in angular houses are usually easier to see by themselves and others, and they are more likely to become the main line of life or external events.

The first house is about self-expression, the fourth house is about family foundation, the seventh house is about relationships and cooperation, and the tenth house is about career and social status. For people with strong angular houses, life issues often come to them directly and they are less able to hide in the background for a long time.

Suspension: Maintenance, accumulation and resource stability

The continuation houses are the second house, the fifth house, the eighth house, and the eleventh house. They do not manifest immediately like the angular palace, but are related to resource maintenance, desire continuation, value accumulation, relationship binding, and community support.

The 2nd house sustains personal resources, the 5th house sustains creativity and pleasure, the 8th house sustains deep bonds and shared resources, and the 11th house sustains community and long-term vision. People with strong continuations often build life structures around value, stability, accumulation and continued investment.

Fruit House: Learning, Adjustment and Transformation

The fruit houses are the third house, the sixth house, the ninth house, and the twelfth house. They are more like transitional and processing systems, responsible for information, learning, service, health, distant meaning, the subconscious mind, and behind-the-scenes organization.

Fruit palace does not mean weak, but the way of manifestation is more indirect. Those with a strong 3rd house operate through learned expression, those with a strong 6th house operate through process service, those with a strong 9th house operate through faith and distant expansion, and those with a strong 12th house process life experiences through hidden space, healing and the subconscious.

House type changes planetary manifestations

The same Mars in the angular house may compete, promote, and conflict more directly; in the cascading house, it may focus more on resources, desires, and continuous investment; in the fruit house, it may manifest as busyness, learning, service, internal friction, or behind-the-scenes actions.

Therefore, when reading the placement of planets, you should not only look at which house it is in, but also which category the house belongs to: angle, continuation, or fruit. It affects whether energy is manifested, maintained, or adjusted.

How to verify when returning to the horoscope

Group the planets in the chart into angular, continuation and fruiting houses. See which group has the most planets, and which group contains the Sun, Moon, ascendant or personal planets. If there are many angular palaces, life is more likely to be pushed by external events; if there are many continuation palaces, the themes of resources and stability are important; if there are many fruit palaces, learning, adaptation, service, and inner processing are more important.
