What is the difference between natal aspects and transit aspects?
The biggest difference between the natal phase and the transit phase is that one is a long-term structure and the other is a stage trigger; the former is like your usual inner circuit, and the latter is like what force is touching this circuit now.
The natal aspect talks about "how you have been functioning" and the transit aspect talks about "who is knocking on the door now"
Natal aspects are structural and describe how you tie, pull or flow together two sets of functions over time. Transiting aspects are temporal and tell you which planets are currently triggering these structures. One is the line itself and the other is the current current. If the two are confused into the same thing, judgment will be out of focus.
Therefore, distinguishing the structure and trigger first is the most important step in reading the phase.
Without the natal aspect, the fortune will lack the background; without the natal aspect, the fortune will lack the opportunity.
If a certain transiting planet is opposing your natal Venus, the reason why it is meaningful is not just that it is "aspected", but that it touches how you love, how you judge value, and how you handle relationships.
