How does synastry look at the relationship between two people?

Synastry is most easily misused as "do we deserve it?" But the real combination is not about scoring, but about how two people trigger each other. A relationship can be very attractive, but unstable; it can be very stable, but lacking in enthusiasm; it can have a sense of destiny, but it requires strong realistic boundaries.

Therefore, synastry should be viewed in layers: attraction, security, communication, long-term commitment, conflict patterns, and realistic conditions. Just looking at a Venus-Mars aspect or a Saturn aspect is not enough.

Before combining the charts, you need to read your natal chart first. A person's natal relationship pattern determines how he will receive triggers from the other party. If the natal Moon is afraid of losing, the other party's slight indifference may be amplified; if the natal Venus needs freedom, too strong a binding may be both attractive and oppressive.

Problems in two people's combined charts are often not "caused by the other party," but rather by the other party pressing a button that already exists in the natal chart.

Moon interactions are important because long-term relationships rely not only on attraction, but also on emotional placement. The interactions between the Moon and the Moon, the Moon and Venus, the Moon and Saturn, and the Moon and Pluto will significantly affect feelings of security, caregiving styles, and emotional triggers.

If the moon is comfortable, the relationship will tend to feel like home; if the moon is tense, it may be difficult to relax in front of the other person. Especially in cohabitation, marriage, and long-term companionship, the moon is more important than short-term attraction.

Saturn in synastry is often related to commitment, responsibility, time, distance, and realistic pressure. The good side of Saturn is that it can make relationships come true, but the bad side is depression, coldness, burden and inequality.

Strong Saturn does not mean that you will definitely be able to get married, nor does it mean that you will definitely be miserable. The key depends on whether both parties are willing to assume realistic responsibilities, and whether Saturn only brings pressure, without warmth and communication.

Nodes, 8th house, Pluto, Saturn, strong Moon interactions can all bring about a sense of destiny. But a sense of destiny is no guarantee of relationship quality. It just means that the relationship is deeply triggering and may be difficult to ignore.

The real question is: Does this trigger lead to growth, stability, and honesty, or does it lead to control, repetition, and consumption? Synastry should not only be obsessed with "very feeling", but also depends on whether it can live.

When looking at synastry, first look at the natal relationship structure between the two people, and then look at the interaction between the moon, Venus, Mars, Mercury, and Saturn. Then look at the other party's planets falling into key houses such as your fifth house, seventh house, eighth house, fourth house, tenth house, etc.

Finally, mark attraction, safety, communication, long-term, and pressure separately. A relationship doesn't need to be perfect in everything, but if there's only attraction and no security or communication, be cautious.
