The horoscope is not a fortune-telling conclusion, so what exactly is it looking at?

What exactly are horoscopes?

First understand the Bazi as a set of language for reading birth time, four-pillar structure and time changes. This article will further bring the concept back to structure, judgment and real-life scenarios.

What on earth are you looking at?

The horoscope does not look at some mysterious conclusion, but how the time of birth is broken down into four pillars, and then how these pillars form structures, relationships and stages. It is more like a method of reading time: first identify the center, then identify the forces operating around the center, and finally return them to the real scene.

why is it not a sentence

Because one sentence can only give results, not paths. The really useful thing about horoscopes is that it can tell you: why this thing happened like this, what strength it relied on to support it, and at which stage it was more likely to be triggered. Without this information, any single-sentence conclusion is easily biased.

Which layers should be looked at first for a disk?

  • ·Look at the sun master first to know who the center is.
  • ·Look at the five elements again and know how power is distributed.
  • ·Look at the Ten Gods again and know what these powers are doing.
  • ·Then look at the pattern, strength, and timing to know how the disk operates as a whole.
  • ·Finally, bring in the Universiade and see when it is amplified and when it is rewritten.

If the order is reversed, the words will become scattered.

what can it answer

Bazi is better at answering "Why does this happen?" "How do such things usually develop?" "Which structure is more likely to be activated?" rather than directly announcing for you what will happen on a certain day. It is a structural judgment, not a sudden announcement.

where is its boundary

The horoscope is not a legal conclusion, nor is it a medical replacement, nor is it a reduction of life to a fixed label. It just tells you: In this time structure, which forces appear more frequently, where imbalances are likely to occur, and where you should start first in reality.

Why treat it as structural science first?

It is easiest for beginners to find answers in a hurry: whether they will have money, how their marriage will be, and whether they will have a successful career. There's nothing wrong with the question itself, but without first reading out the structure, the answer becomes a collage of terms. For real horoscope reading, we first ask who is the center of this chart, where does the power come from, where does the pressure come from, where can flow and where is blocked. Only after the structure is clear can the subject judgment be rooted.

The four pillars are not four isolated grids

The four pillars of year, month, day and hour should be viewed together. The Year Pillar gives the distant background, the Moon Pillar gives the climate and growth field, the Sun Pillar is close to the self and intimate relationships, and the Hour Pillar shows the extension, later stages and results. Any one bar may provide clues, but a single bar is usually not directly conclusive. For example, if you see a certain ten gods appearing in the Nian Pillar, it can only mean that it appears in the background layer, and cannot be immediately pushed into a specific event.

The "xiang" in the horoscope must be translated into reality

The language of the birth chart is not reality itself. Wealth is not just equal to money, it can also be resources, management, and actual exchange; official killing is not only equal to position, but can also be rules, pressure, goals, and constraints; seal is not only equal to academic qualifications, but also a source of protection, understanding, and support. The real difficulty in learning horoscopes is to translate these symbols into patterns that can be observed in life, rather than just stopping at terminology.

Why do the same people live in different ways?

The horoscope gives structural tendencies, not life scripts. The same structure, placed in different families, education, cities, eras, choices and training, will produce different expressions. A person who is addicted to food may create something, or it may become a conflict of expression; a person who is obsessed with officialdom may develop discipline and goals, or he may feel high pressure. It is judged that the actual variables must be retained and the disk cannot be read as a unique version.

What can an article teach you and what can’t it teach you?

Introductory articles can help you build a map: what to look at first, what to look at later, and which words should not be used indiscriminately. It cannot replace a large number of examples, nor does it allow you to skip the basic skills and jump directly to conclusions. Really stable learning is to return to the same path every time you look at a concept: clear definition, clear location, clear relationship, clear strength and weakness, and clear time. After reading like this for a long time, Bazi will change from a bunch of nouns into a set of judgment methods.
