Start by naming one life domain and the decision or observation behind it. Locate the relevant palace, read the Life Palace and Body Palace in context, then examine the main stars, supporting stars and challenging stars. Next read the opposing palace and the San Fang Si Zheng network, trace only the Four Transformations relevant to the topic, and add Da Xian and annual timing. A complete judgment is conditional: it describes what a configuration may make easier, more visible or more demanding under stated conditions. The final step is a reality check through records, behavior and choices. No single star, palace or annual marker is entitled to replace the whole chart.

The Life Palace is a reference for the chart’s way of organizing self and direction; the Body Palace can show where lived attention or effort becomes concentrated; the relevant palace defines the domain being asked about, such as career, wealth, relationships, health habits, migration or family property. A palace is not a sentence like “this person is ambitious” or “this person will marry.” The Reading order begins by translating the question into a domain and stating what the palace can and cannot represent. A career palace can frame work roles, responsibility and institutional settings, but it does not guarantee a job title. If the question is about relocation, the Migration palace and its network may be more relevant than reading the Life Palace alone. Complete judgment requires the domain to remain visible.

Main stars provide a mode of expression, while supporting and challenging stars can modify pace, visibility, friction or the resources needed to express it. The same star is not a permanent adjective. Its meaning changes with the palace, opposing palace, network, transformations and the question. “Strong” or “auspicious” is not enough: explain what behavior or condition the star may support, what could inhibit it and what evidence would distinguish the interpretations. A star associated with organization may show planning in a career palace, careful allocation in a wealth palace or boundary-setting in a relationship palace. These are hypotheses, not automatic outcomes. Star reading becomes professional when it names the mechanism and keeps a path back to observed life.

The opposing palace and the three harmonizing directions can supply resources, demands, audiences or consequences that change the meaning of the target palace. Read the target palace first, then ask what its opposite reflects, what the San Fang Si Zheng palaces contribute and which relationship is actually relevant to the question. Do not add every palace as decoration. A career question may involve career, wealth, migration and the Life or Body palace because work choices use resources, public settings and personal effort. That network does not mean four life areas have identical meanings. It means the judgment should show how they connect. The network can soften, redirect or intensify a single-star impression without erasing the original star evidence.

Lu, Quan, Ke and Ji should be treated as flows of emphasis, control, recognition or friction within the chart’s stated relationships, not as four universal labels of good and bad. For a specific topic, write the source and destination: for example, in a fictional chart a recorded Hua Lu may move from the Wealth palace toward the Career palace, while Hua Ji may move from the Property palace toward the Health palace. Then explain the possible mechanism and the conditions that would make it visible. If the topic is unrelated to those palaces, do not force the transformation into the conclusion. Four Transformations can modify a network judgment, but they cannot make missing palace data or missing real-world evidence disappear.

Da Xian and annual cycles are time layers placed over the natal chart. They can bring a palace network into attention, increase a demand, create a review window or make a choice more consequential. They do not turn a natal indication into an unavoidable event, and a stage should not be described as a permanent personality trait. State the natal configuration first, then the phase emphasis, then the actual age, environment, resources, consent and decisions. A career phase can become a promotion, a change of team, a training period or a deliberate refusal depending on circumstances. If the birth data or cycle boundary is uncertain, widen the window and lower confidence. Do not use timing to diagnose illness, predict death, decide consent or replace legal, financial, medical or safety judgment.

Consider a fictional chart in which the Life Palace is in Chen with Zi Wei and Tian Xiang, the Body Palace is placed in the Career Palace, and the Career palace connects through San Fang Si Zheng to Wealth and Migration. The question is whether a product manager should accept an overseas team lead role. First, the palace layer frames responsibility, public coordination and relocation rather than declaring ambition. Second, Zi Wei and Tian Xiang suggest a hypothesis about coordinating standards, people and institutional expectations; they do not guarantee authority. Third, the network asks whether Wealth can support the move and whether Migration changes the work setting. Fourth, in this fictional chart Hua Lu is recorded as flowing from Wealth to Career, while Hua Quan flows from Career toward Migration and Hua Ji flows from Property toward Health. The reading therefore watches funding and role leverage, increased responsibility during relocation and the strain of leaving a home routine. Fifth, a Da Xian that activates Career or Migration is a review window, not a command. In reality, the manager compares visa and family conditions, runs a six-week remote trial, tracks sleep and workload, and asks the future team about decision rights. Those observations form the reality check and may confirm, narrow or reject the hypothesis.

The same main star in the Career palace and the Relationship palace cannot be copied into one sentence: one may concern role structure and institutional responsibility, while the other concerns negotiation and expectations between people. Likewise, the same palace with a different main star changes the mode of expression. An empty palace does not mean the life domain is absent; it requires reading the opposite palace, the San Fang Si Zheng network, supporting stars and transformations that actually connect to it. A single auspicious star does not cancel a difficult network, and a challenging star does not doom a person. Compare the evidence, name the missing evidence and keep the conclusion conditional. This is how a complete judgment avoids single-star fortune telling.

Use this review sequence: define the question and domain; record Life and Body palace positions; list the relevant main, supporting and challenging stars; read the opposite palace and network; trace only relevant Four Transformations from source to destination; add Da Xian or annual timing; write the uncertainty; then choose a small observable action and a review date. A reality check should use behavior, records, constraints and consent, not only whether a phrase feels familiar. Ziwei Dou Shu cannot diagnose, predict death or disease, determine whether someone consents, compel a relationship or career, or replace medical, psychological, legal, financial, workplace or safety support. A deep reading remains revisable: if the promised mechanism does not appear under the stated conditions, the interpretation must be narrowed or abandoned.
