Gonggan Sihua starts from a specific palace and follows how that palace sends a transformation to another field. It is useful for a local causal question: why does a Career matter reach Wealth, why does a Couple concern reach Life, or why does an external opportunity affect a public role? The flow may carry Resources, power, reputation, or pressure. It does not mean the source palace controls the destination, and it is not a mysterious line that predicts an event by itself. Name source, destination, domain, condition, and the real-world handoff.

The source palace names the field that generates, requests, sends, or frames the influence; the destination names where the influence must be received and managed. Career sending Hualu to Wealth is not simply “career is lucky”: it asks what work, authority, client, or output becomes a resource and what Wealth must do with it. Couple sending Hua Ji to Life is not “relationship is doomed”: it asks what unresolved agreement or worry changes self-understanding. A palace is a life field, not a personality label.

The star involved in the flow shows how Palace influence is expressed: organizing, negotiating, competing, explaining, protecting, displaying, worrying, or repairing. Auxiliary and difficult stars add delay, cost, visibility, conflict, or maintenance. Read the star as a method and capacity, not as a moral verdict. The same source palace can send a useful flow through one star and a costly flow through another because the medium changes what the receiver must handle.

A palace-stem flow is not complete until you inspect Three Parties and Four Uprightnesses, the opposite palace, and connected fields. The network can show whether the destination has resources, whether an opposite field resists, and where the consequence becomes visible. A source in Career may send power to Wealth, but the opposite palace may expose missing staff or a pricing conflict. A source in Migration may send reputation to Couple, but the network may show a consent or privacy boundary. State the bridge and the bottleneck. Then ask which observation would falsify the first reading: a resource that never arrives, a responsibility that has no authority, or a reputation gain that does not improve the real exchange. This keeps Palace influence tied to a testable chain rather than a decorative arrow.

Do not collapse the four flows into “good influence.” Palace-stem Hualu may open access or supply; Hua Quan may concentrate decision rights; Hua Ke may explain, document, or buffer; Hua Ji may attach pressure, debt, contradiction, or repair cost. The same source palace can send different flows to different destinations. Compare source, star, destination, domain, and condition for each. Then calibrate with the birth-year baseline: the broad natal tendency and the local palace question may support or qualify each other.

A palace-stem flow belongs to the chart’s structure, but timing changes when a local question becomes active. A major cycle may bring a new contract, role, relationship, move, or institution into the source-destination chain. An annual layer may trigger a message, purchase, deadline, review, or repair request. Timing activates the bridge; it does not create the entire bridge or guarantee the result. Compare the period with actual authority, resources, capacity, consent, and maintenance cost.

Imagine a fictional chart in which the Career palace sends Hualu to Wealth and Hua Quan to Migration. A freelance researcher is offered a larger institutional contract. Career asks what work and delivery system are being supplied; Wealth asks whether the fee covers preparation, tax, software, and a reserve; Migration asks how the institution’s external reputation will affect future clients; Hua Quan asks who controls the public presentation and deadline. Three Parties and Four Uprightnesses connect the offer to Life capacity and Fortune recovery. The researcher calculates effective hourly rate, limits revisions, reserves tax, keeps one smaller client, and obtains written authority over scope. The flow explains why the fields connect; the decision still depends on capacity and terms.

A source palace sending Hualu to Wealth does not mean every income decision is favorable; it may also increase workload or dependence. A source palace sending Hua Ji to Career does not mean failure; it may expose a process that needs repair. Compare the same destination receiving Hualu versus Hua Quan: one supplies, the other concentrates responsibility. Compare the same source sending Hua Ke versus Hua Ji: one makes the issue discussable, the other names pressure or cost. Direction, not a single label, changes the reading.

Do not say “where it flies, everything there must happen,” and do not reverse cause and effect. Do not read an empty destination as no influence, or a strong star as permission to control another person. Do not use palace-stem flows to override evidence, consent, institutional rules, or professional support. If many flows exist, look for repeated destinations and the main line rather than listing every arrow. A flow is a relationship to investigate, not a guarantee.
