How does Ziwei Dou Shu look at character and the main axis of life?

The Life Palace can determine a person's starting method, self-centeredness, and first reaction to the world, but personality is not determined solely by the Life Palace. How a person acts, how he settles down, how he reacts in relationships, and how he faces pressure all depend on his life body, merit, the three directions and four righteousnesses, and the four transformations.

If you only look at the life palace, you will read the person as a static label; only if you look at the whole chart together, you will know how this person lives out himself in reality.

The body palace shows where a person later puts his efforts and which areas will train his real identity. The Palace of Fortune looks at inner satisfaction, quality of rest, mental digestion and true stability. Many people's external personality and internal state are not consistent. This gap can only be explained by looking at the combination of destiny, body, and merit.

For example, a person who looks strong may have uneasy fortune; a person who appears to be gentle may have high-pressure responsibilities for a long time.

If a certain type of Four Transformations repeatedly affects the Life Palace, Fortune Palace, Body Palace or Life and Wealth Palace, the main character line will be more obvious. People with a lot of power are not necessarily strong, but they are often pushed to take responsibility; people with a lot of power are not necessarily pessimistic, but they tend to worry about certain topics repeatedly.

Personality is not an adjective, but a pattern of responses that is repeated over time.

Practical personality judgment should help people know how to make choices, how to be triggered, how to restore energy, and how to avoid dealing with all problems in the same way. It shouldn't just be "you're smart, you're strong, you're sensitive."
