Judgement meaning

A calling — the awakening that asks whether you will answer.

Judgement depicts figures rising from coffins at the sound of an angel's trumpet. The card is about awakening to a calling you can no longer ignore, and the accompanying reckoning with how you have lived so far. It is not punitive — it is the moment of standing up to a larger life after a long sleep. The card asks: what are you being called to, and will you answer?

Start with the spread position. Judgement in a challenge position is not read the same way as Judgement in an advice or outcome position.

Then check upright or reversed. Upright usually shows direct movement; reversed often shows blockage, excess, avoidance, delay, or internalization.
